About Your Mentor

Hey there! Welcome to the wild and wonderful world of freelancing!

I'm Queendolly Escanuela Verhoeven, but you can call me "Queenie". I've been freelancing successfully for over 15 years now and I absolutely love it. In addition to that, I've also been teaching others how to navigate the freelance world for the past 10 years.

Before I started freelancing, I had a good amount of experience in the corporate world. My focus was mainly on customer service and marketing, helping big companies succeed or become more successful. And I was very happy doing it!

However, things took a surprising twist when I fell in love with someone from a different country. We tied the knot, welcomed a beautiful son into our lives, and made the choice to reside in his homeland. I was whisked away from the Philippines to the Netherlands, where I found myself in a whole new world – quite literally!

Moving to a Dutch-speaking country was no walk in the park as far as my job hunting was concerned, let me tell you!

Not only did I have a six-month-old baby to take care of, but I also didn't have enough knowledge of the Dutch language. As a result, finding a job that suited my interests proved to be quite the challenge. At my age at that time (in my mid 30's), I refused to settle for anything less than a job I loved. Unfortunately, most of the job openings I was interested in required me to speak Dutch fluently, which I definitely did not.

So, after three long months of zero job prospects, I decided to take matters into my own hands and made the bold decision to create a job for myself by freelancing online. And boy, was it a game-changer! It turned out to be one of the best decisions I've ever made.

Today, I run my own online freelance company called Your Business Ally, a one stop shop for small business owners, entrepreneurs, and private practitioners who are from different parts of the world.

What is the time frame for finishing my website?

The website needs to be finished by 2025. Together with you, we should decide on a specific date in 2025 for when you want your site to go live. We can start as soon as February. Once we agree to start the project, we’ll complete your website within 4 to 8 weeks from start date. But please be reminded that for us to build your website and have it live right on time, you should also ensure that you provide us with all the necessary materials, like content and copy, within the agreed timeframe.
Will I receive training for managing my website after it goes live?

Absolutely! We provide free training to ensure you feel comfortable managing your new site.
What happens if I encounter technical issues with my website after it goes live?

We provide free website support and maintenance for three months after your site launches. During this time, you'll receive training, so we hope you or your team will be able to manage it afterward. If you need ongoing support, we're happy to assist for a fee.
What else do I need to pay for aside from $297?

To get started on your website, you'll pay a one-time fee of $297 to Your Business Ally. That's all. We'll work with the tools and platforms you choose, like WordPress with the Divi Builder, Kartra, Kajabi, or Wix. Just remember, you'll need to pay those providers directly for their services.
